Requirements:
• Be available to work 15-20 hours per week, between the hours of 8am-7pm M-F
• Must be enrolled as a full-time upper division or graduate student at an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship

Compensation:
This is a temporary paid internship and position is contingent upon funding, $20.29 per hour

General Unclassified Paid Intern (UPI) Services
• Recruit and inform students about our program services
• Conduct orientation and workshops
• Assistance with UC, CSU, & Private University applications
• Assistance with financial aid applications
• Classroom Presentations on available services
• Phone banking and email message outreach to students
• Data collection and reporting
• Provide assistance to students via our virtual platform (chat availability)
• Assist Counselors with other duties as assigned

Unclassified Paid Intern (UPI) EOPS Functions
• Assist in EOPS outreach and recruitment
• Assist counselors in supporting students on probation
• Assist and conducting workshops

• Application Workshops (CSU, UC, Independent)
• Career knowledge
• Scholarships
• Distance learning
• Time management
• Study skills
• Financial planning

• Assistance with coordination of university field trips
• Assistance with the coordination of program events
• Update and manage our social media accounts

Unclassified Paid Intern (UPI) CARE and Next Up Functions
• Assistance with outreach and mentoring of single-parent students and former foster youth
• Assist primary counselors with program in-take and workshops
• Lead student success workshops on topics for these specific student populations
• Assistance with program activities
