Job Description

This position is a great opportunity for a USC master’s student interested in gaining meaningful, hands-on experience in higher education administration and student support. As a Graduate Student Assistant, you’ll work closely with the OCL Program Office team and have the opportunity to contribute across multiple areas of program administration, including student services, program operations, student communications, records management, and student and alumni programming and events.

 

We’re looking for someone who is collaborative, organized, curious, and eager to learn and who cares about creating a holistically positive and supportive experience for students. Beyond supporting the day-to-day work of the program, we want this to be a meaningful learning experience for the student who joins our team. You’ll have opportunities to build transferable skills, learn more about how a doctoral program operates behind the scenes, contribute ideas and perspectives of your own, and gain practical experience that can support your continued growth and future career in higher education, student affairs, or related fields.

 

Position Details:

  • $20/hour
  • 10–15 hours per week
  • Hybrid
  • Work-study required
  • Anticipated start: September 2026
  • Potential to continue beyond the 2026–2027 academic year
  • Priority consideration: Sunday, August 30, 2026
