Job Description

The Academic Services Office at USC Gould School of Law is seeking motivated, detail-oriented student workers to assist with administrative and operational tasks. This position provides a valuable opportunity to gain experience working in an academic setting, build organizational skills, and support the law school's academic functions. The ideal candidate is professional, responsible, and capable of maintaining confidentiality. Student must be eligible for work-study.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Assist with filing, data entry, scanning, copying, and other clerical tasks as needed to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Student Services: Serve as a point of contact for students, answering general inquiries related to course registration, graduation requirements, and academic policies.
  • Document Preparation: Help prepare and distribute academic-related materials, such as course schedules, exam information, and graduation documentation.
  • Event Coordination: Assist with planning and execution of academic events, including orientation, exam distribution, graduation ceremonies, and workshops.
  • Communication: Provide support in managing office communications, including answering phones, responding to emails, and disseminating important information to students and faculty.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Assist the Academic Services staff with additional projects or tasks that may arise during the course of the academic year.
